Trying to finish Cyprus trip. Four new videos uploaded into previous posts.

After trotting around Southeast Asia over the summer, I'm now back in the UK - Cambridge to be exact. Am trying my best to update as frequently as my clinical course will allow.

Entries on Italy and France two winters ago have been put on hold indefinitely. Read: possibly never. But we shall see.

Entries on Greece and Turkey last winter have also been put on hold for the time being.

Shanghai - Hong Kong (Train) II

This is why he prefers to travel alone. 11 excruciating hours on a train from Shanghai to Hong Kong passes by in a blink of an eye with conversations between him and a Canadian, a New Zealander and a British. Thirteen bottles of beer later and the canteen bears witness to all sorts of banter: politics, relationships, family and sex.

There couldn't have been a more eclectic bunch. The Canadian hippy is travelling the world. The New Zealander social worker is dreading her return to England and thus, procrastinating in China. And the British manages a funfare.

This is why he loves to travel on his own.

11 hours on train. Ouch.
