This will be the last time he travels anywhere around China for more than an hour by bus. The blaring of horns is more than he can stand. They use it so liberally here in China. He's actually conditioned to it. Gives a start every time he hears it. Feels his heart skip a beat. And a rise in blood pressure. The hideous monster of anger rears its head before giving way to frustration.
