Stop Press!

Trying to finish Cyprus trip. Four new videos uploaded into previous posts.

After trotting around Southeast Asia over the summer, I'm now back in the UK - Cambridge to be exact. Am trying my best to update as frequently as my clinical course will allow.

Entries on Italy and France two winters ago have been put on hold indefinitely. Read: possibly never. But we shall see.

Entries on Greece and Turkey last winter have also been put on hold for the time being.

Drum Tower Square

He now understands Chengdu's appeal. Despite being a large city - provincial capital of Sichuan - of ten million, its people are laidback and relaxed. Teahouses are filled daily with the inhabitants of the city enjoying a cup of tea over a game of mahjong. They know how to enjoy their food with delicious dishes. And the pace of the city is slow for one as big as it is especially when compared to the likes of Shanghai or even Chongqing.

That said however, Xi'an feels much more pleasant. Further up north, the air is cool and refreshing for a change. Unlike the hot and dusty city of Chengdu. The city isn't congested with vehicles nor packed with people. And Drum Tower Square next to the Bell Tower is filled with people sitting and resting or flying tiny kites stringed together in one long line.
