(3 of 3 of The Two Towers)
The girl in front of him puts on her makeup. Two empty paper cups stand before her on the McDonald's tray. Her boyfriend talks to her but she's clearly not paying attention. In front of her mirror propped up against her makeup bag, she applies foundation and blush to her cheeks. Darkens her eyebrows and adds a dark blue eye shadow above her eyes. Carefully, she draws a fine line just below her eyes with one of those glitter pens. Then, blackens her eyelashes with those eyelash curlers. Her boyfriend gets up and leaves her. The lipstick follows last of all. She picks up her mirror and looks into it. Fluffs her hair. And smiles satisfactorily at her reflection. Her boyfriend returns with a tray of burgers, chips and drinks.
